Belief Matters

“Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep on saying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing, it is possible that I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it. On the contrary, if I shall have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it, even if I may not have it at the beginning.”

~ Mahatma Gandhi

If I believe I am an accident, I will behave accidentally

But if I believe I am intentional, then I will behave intentionally

If I believe I have no value, I will have no values

But if I believe I am invaluable, then I will treat myself and others with high value

If I believe it is too late, I will give up

But if I believe in a new day, then I will get up

If I believe some people matter and some people don’t, I will spend my life paralyzed by judgment

But if I believe everyone matters, then I will spend my life speaking up for those who’ve felt the sting of judgment

If I believe I can do it on my own, I will experience failure

But if I believe He is strong, I will experience success

If I believe my wrong cannot be righted, I will be filled with debilitating shame

But if I believe in redemption and the hand of forgiveness, then I will be filled with hope, freedom and eternal joy

BELIEF MATTERS...
